Rachel Lasebikan

Rachel is Founder of Mojisola and has over 12 years experience working in creative business innovation, marketing, design and product development, and corporate relations. She supplies services within research and analysis of business and consumer trends, knowledge transfer, strategy, product innovation, and the development of brands.

She holds an MA in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London and a degree in Fashion, specializing in Fashion Promotion from Southampton University.

Rachel has contributed to the start-up and growth of various projects including building Brand, Corporate Relations and Legacy development for the African Broadcast Network and African Public Broadcasting Foundation. She created the first African fair-trade clothing range ‘Isola Indigo’ for the TS Boutique at Topshop’s flagship store and initiated an African trends series of reports for the Worth Global Style Network (WGSN), supplying key stories from the continent including the rebranding of Africa, the growth of Africa’s consumer magazine industry and highlighting Africa’s Cheetah generation.

Aside from corporate projects Mojisola is working on developing sustainable products and trade links with mainstream fashion and retail industries, and on developing service programming and media projects.

Martin Malii-Karlsson

Martin Malii-Karlsson is Founder of BLaO Media, specializing in social media and media project development with a passion for creating experiences for Social Enterprises. He has over 16 years of experience in strategies, creating concepts, managing creative projects and producing content within the Cultural, New Media and Entertainment industries.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics at School of Business, Economics and Law, Gothenburg University, Sweden, specializing in Management and Entrepreneurship in SMEs and a degree in Film Production at Film i Väst, Trollhättan, Sweden.

Martin´s entrepreneurial experience and community development started in his hometown back in 1986 when he co-founded a youth culture community, in Sweden. He organized events including exhibitions, concerts and festivals. The community still exists today.

He was a Founding Partner and Director for 10 years in BLaO Entertainment, Gothenburg, London and New York, with partners Robert Kiboy and Peter Swartling. He executive produced, published and released award winning music and content.
Clients included: FIFA, Gothia Cup, the World´s biggest Youth Tournament in Football, Anastacia, Mitsubishi, Kara Dio Guardi, Oprah Winfrey, Discovery Channel and BLaO´s own artists JAQEE, and Wawesh. He has received many nominations and awards including the Grammy.

He initiated Crossover Nordic a cross media programme, created by Frank Boyd, Unexpected Media and BBC Innovation lab and Heather Croall, Sheffield Doc Fest, where different media sectors including Mobile, Animation, Games, Film, TV and New Media, collaborates on delivering new Cross Media projects using emerging platforms.

Kristina Nyzell

Kristina is currently working with Disruptive Play and she is a founding member of GLAM academy / Games like ltd.

Kristina Nyzell is the former head of club and community development LEGO Systems A/S where she managed a global physical and virtual subscription based outreach program for children in the age group 5 to 15, neighborhood club progammes as well as the “windows” to LEGO fan community. Kristina’s expertise is in the intersection of industries, cultures, community outreach and lead user innovation strategies and change. Kristina is also an Innovation Fellow at SMARTlab, working on the BuzzNET project. Her current work focuses on lead user/open source innovation and knowledge management.

Pascal Wattiaux

Pascal Wattiaux is currently working with Disruptive Play and he is a founding member of GLAM academy / Games like ltd.

Pascal is Senior Consultant to LOCOG, and until very recently was the Director of Technology for the London 2012 games, and CEO of LOCOG (the London Organising Committee for the Olympics Games). His vast Olympic experience stretches back to 1988 when working for Andersen Consulting where he was director of a project for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. As Director of Technology for the International Olympic Committee (1996-1999) Pascal was responsible for the co-ordination of the technology departments of summer and winter Games, starting just after the Atlanta 1996 Games.

As Senior Vice-President of digital media company, Quokka, Pascal worked on optimising real time publishing of live events such as the Americas Cup and the Sydney Olympics on the internet, broadband platforms, wireless platforms and interactive TV. In his previous roles Pascal has been Group CIO at Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, a senior manager at Price Waterhouse and Director for International Operations at Reebok International. He has been located in his native France, Switzerland, USA and now in London. Pascal has a Masters degree with majors in telecommunications, computer science and electronics from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris.
